Colin Jacobsen is a violin soloist with a wide range of musical activities. He has performed with many of the world's greatest orchestras and ensembles including as a touring member of Yo-Yo Ma's Silk Road Ensemble. Mr. Jacobsen is a member of Brooklyn Rider; a string quartet that is comprised of violinist Jonathan Gandelsman, violist Nicholas Cords and cellist Eric Jacobsen. He will be a mentor with the musicians of the You Tube Symphony Orchestra when they meet in Sydney, Australia between March 14th to 20th, 2011.
